Logic School (7th-9th Grade)

Developing Understanding & Reason

After developing the knowledge of the Grammar Stage, students are ready to develop understanding in the Logic Stage. These years are a pivotal season in a student’s development. As students mature, they naturally begin asking deeper questions, making connections, and seeking to understand the “why” behind what they learn. Students in this stage begin thinking critically, desiring an environment to refine and challenge ideas. Classical education recognizes this stage, intentionally equipping students with the tools to think logically, communicate clearly, and pursue truth with discernment.

Through rigorous academics, classroom discussions, and increasing in personal responsibility, students develop curiosity and confidence while continuing to build their strong foundations in Scripture and virtue. Whether studying literature and history in Humanities or learning math and science, students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions and seek answers through the lens of a Biblical worldview.
